Reaching out to find out how more of her universe worked

Everything was subtly connected in fascinating ways

So when she ran into a dead end, she would happily start over

Except when that meant flushing years of work down the proverbial mental toilet

Reacting like anyone would, under those circumstances, she would become depressed

Cautiously she would begin to feel better and begin a new journey down a path she had yet to explore

Her energy renewed, ready to tackle another problem

Fierce (an acrostic poem)

Fools rush in where angels fear to tread was his favorite proverb

It encapsulated his life in ways that spanned from ludicrous to profound

Ever since he was a boy, he would do the near impossible, twist fate into pretzels, and never miss a beat

Reveling in the audacity of the chaos he spread around like seeds from a dandelion caught in a tornado

Could do no wrong, and it was just the way of the universe

Evidently when you held your guardian angel hostage, you could ever be the fool, but were you?

Complete (an acrostic poem)

Carnage had been prophesied since the day of her birth

Obliterate the evil, or else she would fail, and the world would burn

Many people tried to guide her, their interests, they felt, were the same as hers

Pulling her six different ways at once, she ended up pitting them against each other

Letting their division give her the room to find her own way

Everything was going well.  The darkness was beaten back.

The final battle took place, and in the end, she was victorious

Everyone’s cheers turned to screams when she didn’t stop and began attacking them

How much do I hate you?  Let me count the ways.”

As if you can complain.  I’m the best thing for you.”

Really?  That’s about as offkey of a response as I can imagine.”

Perhaps, but I am secure in my knowledge that I know how to pull your strings.”

The fact that she flirted so hard but kept him away was so attractive

And at the same time was so frustrating in so many ways

Rachel just needed to get over herself and give in

That and he needed to get his sister to leave the two of them alone

The bitter taste Rachel had in her mouth made her lips pucker

As he made an ass of himself yet again

Really she knew she couldn’t stand to be around the idiot, but she had to put up with him

The fact that his sister was so hot made it worth putting up with the frustration…
