Plowing and sowing the world of sleep

It was hard work, but he was a farmer to his soul

Little furrows stretched to the horizon containing the roots of fertile dreams and scream-inducing nightmares

Lying there, waiting to be harvested

Once he was ready and picked them, Morbius would pay him handsomely for this crop

Wait till the slumbering humans were served these delectables!

Lasts (an acrostic poem)

Lacking his dialog cue, he marched in a circle

As he muttered incomprehensibly to himself

So it was surprising when he stopped and told everyone to shush

The silence stretched on forever.

So long that when he said his line the audience and cast gave him an ovation.

Massage (an acrostic poem)

Manipulating the data to make it relax

And at the same time stimulate the viewer to see the answers contained within

So, it should come to no surprise that, at times, the data might be stretched too far

Snapping off the meaning from the numbers

And creating a new thesis from the ether

Giving a new discourse that never even had a whisper

Exist in the original census of the world

Fossil (an acrostic poem)

Feeling ancient, well beyond his years

Oliver groaned, stretched, and popped a few vertebrae back in place

So many stairs to climb to get to his bed made him shake his head

So heavy limbs, like they were made of stone

It made him want to just lay down here for all of eternity

Laughing, he thought he now knew how the dinosaurs felt
