Thick (an acrostic poem)

The breadth of her knowledge was tremendous, but

How could she not know something as simple and basic as this?

I approached her, my evidence in hand

Capturing her attention, I began to lay out my arguments

Kept at it even when I realized maybe I had done something stupid

Pressure (an acrostic poem)

Pushing past the limits of her endurance

Rita kept ratcheting up the tension in her muscles

Everything was on the line this time

Success and she was set for life

Slip up and she would be homeless and broken

Urging her body to give her just a little more

Rita growled as she felt her opponent quiver

Everything after that happened so fast she didn’t know how to react

Quirk (an acrostic poem)

Questioning your definition of reality

Under the influence of questionable substances

It may seem like you are a bit out there

Really, you are just in your own personal zone

Knowing that you youness is what makes you you.

Flood (an acrostic poem)

Floating through the information onslaught

Looking for the answers to her question

Online forums glided by containing flotsam and jetsam of broken ideas

Obliterating her original quest as she drifted along

Didn’t notice three hours had passed, but oh the tales to tell
