Frown (an acrostic poem)

Finding upside down smiles scattered among the audience

Richard tried to make a quick joke to lighten the mood

Only it didn’t work, and more people joined the unhappy camp

When he decided one more time, they started to angrily yell at him

Nobody warned him that practicing his startup at a funeral was going to be such a bad idea

Trail (an acrostic poem)

The path through the trees split around one prominent trunk

Reaching that point, I paused and thought which side should I take

At a quick glance both seemed pretty well traveled

It left me a bit sad since I wanted to follow Frost’s advice

Leaving me but one choice.  I climbed the tree and my perspective was never the same again.

Market (an acrostic poem)

Meaning to go grab some milk and bread

Allowing himself just a quick peek at one more thing

Realizing that his cart was full when he came to his senses

Knowing he should just put it all back

Except most of it was on sale

That means less to buy tomorrow?
